Founded in St. Gallen, made in Appenzell.
Ricardo’s skin couldn’t cope with St. Gallen’s hard water. Shaving left it red, and past thirty his hairline started to recede. He wanted something simple, natural and Swiss – and couldn’t find it.
Two founders, one problem
Veronica grew up in New York, Ricardo in Peru. They met at the University of St. Gallen, where a case study on men’s skincare turned into a question neither of them could let go of: why is it so hard to find something simple, natural and Swiss for men? In 2024 the case study became a company. The bathroom shelf became the test lab.
Thirty versions of a night cream
So Veronica and Ricardo, both University of St. Gallen graduates, made it themselves: more than thirty versions of the night cream, edelweiss from above 3,000 metres, filled in Appenzell. Over thirty versions before texture and colour were right. Each jar in the spray-lacquered glass series is one of a kind. Edelweiss from above 3,000 metres calms the skin, yoghurt concentrate from Swiss milk supports the skin’s microbiome, and squalane and jojoba oil lock in moisture overnight.
Made in Appenzell
Everything is developed, blended and filled in Switzerland, with suppliers from the region. The glass alone – with its sprayed gradient from light to dark – took a year and a half, and no two pieces are exactly alike. Before launch, the formulas went through a dermatological test on 50 people of all skin types – without a single skin reaction. No added fragrance in the Eye Cream and Night Cream, no parabens, silicones or microplastics.
